SABRE 48 SC is a triketone herbicidewhich inhibits the enzyme p-hydroxyphenyl-pyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD),disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis. This process leads to the destruction ofchlorophyll, resulting in a bleaching effect in susceptible plants. SABRE 48SC is intended for preemergence, and post emergence use for the selectivecontrol of annual broadleaf weeds.
